GUJCET 2024 exam to be conducted on 31 March 2024, registration may start soon
GUJCET 2024 exam will be conducted on 31 March 2024 instead of 2 April 2024. Sources say change in the date was made to ensure it does not clash with dates of CBSE Board Exams 2024.
The earlier decided date for GUJCET 2024 was said to be coming the way of board exam dates of CBSE. So the decision was made to conduct GUJCET 2024 on 31 March 2024.
Exam date notification for GUJCET 2024
Candidates can visit the official website with the help of URL ‘https://gseb.org/’ to access the notification.
1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow it to download.
2. Once the webpage is available, candidates can click the button Board Website located below the GSHSEB logo.
3. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://www.gsebeservice.com/’
4. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can click button titled GUJCET-2024ની પરીક્ષાની તારીખમાં ફેરફાર બાબતે under the News Highlights coloumn.
5. Clicking the above button will open the notification in another page and candidates can view the contents about date change in connection with GUJCET 2024.
The test
GUJCET is also known as Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) and is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB).
It is a state level exam conducted once every year and GUJCET 2024 is meant to be conducted for 2024. The registration will open in due course and a notification would be out announcing the commencement.
Candidates keen on joining engineering or pharmacy courses at graduation in colleges across Gujarat can apply for GUJCET 2024.

The subjects in plus-two must be maths, physics, and chemistry if applying for engineering through GUJCET 2024.
Individuals focused on pharmacy must have biology, physics, and chemistry as subjects in plus-two. The applicants of GUJCET 2024 must be passing their qualifying exam with 45% pass marks if they are from other categories.
Applicants from SC/ST/SEBC/EWS have to pass their qualifying exam with 40% pass marks.
The process to apply for the test is online, candidates have to visit the official website with the help of the URL ‘https://gujcet.gseb.org/’
Candidates can type the earlier mentioned URL in the browsers of their computers and the webpage can be allowed to download.
Post-download, students have to click the link for registration and create an account comprising a username and password. Once the account is created, candidates can log in and start filling out the application form for GUJCET 2024.
The registration fee has to be paid and the form can be submitted. Post submission, applicants have to wait for the message indicating successful submission.
Once the message is obtained, candidates can download it and take a printout of it.
The process of application submission usually opens either a month or two before the exam day, taking this into account, the registration (application submission) process for GUJCET 2024 may commence in January or February 2024.

Students who have submitted applications for GUJCET can wait for the hall ticket download which will be informed at the appropriate time on the official website.
