Who can apply
Women willing to apply for Generation Google Scholarship must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s degree for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Candidates must be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field to apply for Generation Google Scholarship.
The applicants for Generation Google Scholarship must be in their second year of study at an recognised institution in Asia Pacific country when completing the scholarship programme.

They must also have a strong academic record and exemplify leadership and demonstrate passion for improving representation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology.
Soon after the webpage downloads, applicants read about the terms and conditions regarding the scholarship, eligibility conditions for applying for Generation Google Scholarship and then move towards applying.
Applicants have to click ‘Apply Now’ Button located on the left side of the webpage and enter their email address and password and then login.
After login the applicants would be taken to webpage with url ‘https://cseduapplication.withgoogle.com/applications/ggscholarsapac2022/create-application/edit’ It is here where the applicants have to provide their first name, last name and tick (accept) the terms and conditions and then submit the form.

After submitting it, the applicants will be taken to another webpage where they can begin filling the application for Generation Google Scholarship.
Applicants must provide their information, contact details, current academic information, work experience and extra curricular details and attach the documents and submit the application for Generation Google Scholarship.
Documents
The documents to be attached along with the application form are the resume of the applicant and details about the degree earned before the present degree if available.
Applicants must also write two essays of 400 words limit each and convert them into PDF format and upload them along with the application form for Generation Google Scholarship.

Candidates who submit applications for Generation Google Scholarship will receive invitation to Google Online Challenge within 5 to 7 working days after submitting the application for Generation Google Scholarship.

Generation Google Scholarship: for Women in computer science awards must be spent on tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for the students’ classes at their primary university.
Enrollment will be verified after the winners are selected, and all scholarship payments will be made directly to the student to be used towards tuition and education-related expenses.

The Generation Google Scholarship will be withheld for any scholar who no longer meets the eligibility requirements and revoke the award for any scholar who does not maintain the eligibility requirements.
Selected candidates will receive instructions from Google on how to receive Generation Google Scholarship. Failure to complete these steps by the specified deadline will disqualify recipients from receiving the award.
Google employees are not eligible to apply for Google scholarships.
Persons who are (1) residents of embargoed countries, (2) ordinarily resident in embargoed countries or (3) otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs may not apply for this scholarship.
