FMGE 2024 December Session: Application Process for Eligibility Certificates Closes Soon – Check Details
FMGE 2024 December Session: The candidates now have the option to raise the query on the status of their eligibility certificate applications at two official email addresses provided by the NMC, namely, eligibility.regn@nmc.org.in and eligibility@nmc.org.in.
The National Medical Commission has begun the application process relating to issuing the eligibility certificate that is necessary to appear in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2024 December screening test. According to the official notice by the NMC, the application process for issuance of FMGE 2024 eligibility certificate shall be closed on November 4 at 6 pm. Candidates willing to appear can apply for getting the FMGE 2024 eligibility certificate at the official website, nmc.org.in.

The official notice by NMC stated, “It may be noted that this is the last opportunity to apply for the Eligibility Certificates and after that, no further chance would be available to the candidates to apply for the Eligibility Certificates. Accordingly, all candidates are requested to apply by doing due diligence and checking the requisite entries scrupulously before applying. An Advisory in this connection would also be issued separately shortly by Registration EMRB and would be available on the website of NMC.”
FMGE 2024 Eligibility Certificate
Queries regarding an application status NMC provided applicants with two official e-mail addresses to obtain applicant status for the eligibility certificate to check upon the eligibility of application regn@nmc.org.in and eligibility@nmc.org.in have been asked to use this address to check the progress of their application.
NMC, in the public notice, made the point that file tracking no. must compulsorily be mentioned while making any enquiry regarding the eligibility certificate application. File tracking number is an automatically created number assigned at the time when the application is submitted to the NMC and forms a unique identifier related to the application-tracking its progress.
It has been highlighted in the notice that the NMC will not respond to any enquiry without this file tracking number. In addition, the notice was targeting candidates who had made applications for eligibility certificates earlier. The commission said those candidates must not apply again. Their applications are considered to be in process, with the possibility of follow-up using a file tracking number for clarification in case there is a need.
FMGE 2024 December session
FMGE exam date is in December 2024. Exact date of FMGE is yet to be announced. The FMGE 2024 December session will be conducted in online mode. As mentioned in the FMGE 2024 pattern, there will be two parts in the question paper, each containing 150 questions. The duration of FMGE 2024 exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. For every incorrect response, there will not be any negative marking.
FMGE is a qualifying test taken by NBE. Every Indian citizen or overseas citizen of India, holding a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India has to appear in this test to be eligible for registration to the medical council of India or a State Medical Council for practicing in India. Candidates who have completed their medical degrees before March 15, 2002 are exempt from the test. FMGE is conducted twice a year, in June and December.
