Exams 2021: Great meeting to decide about exams this year

Exams 2021 have become the talk of the town as many are puzzled over the possibility of conducting them in this year.
The previous year was no smooth sailing for students and parents as the things never moved as per the schedule.

Exams 2021: Great meeting to decide about exams this year
What caused this? The outbreak of corona virus. Needless to say, the same factor is making its impact felt on the education sector of this country even in the present year.
Host of exams 2021 (exams to be conducted during this year) were either cancelled or postponed.

The reason that troubled the academic arena last year continues to pose a concern even now.
Hence, parents and students across the country have now only two big questions in their mind.
While one is will exams 2021 be conducted? What will happen if the examinations are not held?
These two questions regarding the exams are only valid as their impact on life to students is quite phenomenal.

If there is no answer, as to whether exams 2021 will be conducted or not, students would only keep guessing as to whether they have to prepare for examinations or not which only deprives them of their peace of mind, says S. Rajaratnam, a physics teacher at a coaching centre.
There will be an answer likely now. Sources say, high-level meeting will be held on May 23 to discuss about the possibilities of board exams 2021 for class 12 and also entrance exams for professional courses.
Sources further say, meeting to discuss the possibilities of conducting board exams 2021 would be chaired by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Among the ministers to be present are Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Minister for Women and Child Smriti Zubin Irani.

Education Ministers of states and union territories, heads of state examination boards would also be among those to take part in the meeting.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank also has sought the views from students, parents, teachers regarding the conducting of board exams 2021.
The students and parents appear divided as far as exams 2021 are concerned. Some of them want the tests to be conducted, many others are seeking postponement.
Good deal of students and parents are also demanding cancellation of board exams 2021.

Students wanting exams 2021 to be conducted want to hear from the authorities that there will be no postponement or cancellation.
Students wishing postponement or cancellation of exams 2021 want to hear the answer ‘exams will not be conducted.’
The prime point here is about safety now. Not all sections of students and their parents do believe that it is safe to conduct exams 2021 at present and that is why the opinion about conducting exams is divided, says T.R. Ramamurthy, a chemistry teacher at a CBSE school.
It is not only school students that need an answer now. Even the higher education students also are looking for an answer with regards to their exams also.
Among the exams 2021 that are postponed are school board exams, higher education entrance exams, college and university exams and competitive exams for government recruitment.
Students and teachers are of the viewpoint that 12th class exams 2021 are of high importance.
The conducting of 12th class exams is important as it is a qualification for many higher education entrance exams, says K.R. Radhakrishnan, chemistry teacher at NEET coaching centre.
The decision should be made taking into account all factors as the precious future of students is involved. There should be no impact on the higher education and career life of students, he says.
Hope the decision made regarding the board exams 2021 would be satisfactory to all.

As of now, NEET UG this year is scheduled for August. But the present circumstances has created a doubt in the minds of all as to whether NEET UG this year would be conducted as per the actual schedule?
Students and their parents are looking for an answer in this regard also. Hope the answer is found at the earliest.
