Delhi University Admissions for the year 2020 are expected to commence from 8 June. The registration for graduate, post graduate and M.Phil and PhD courses is likely to take place between 8 to 30 June.

Delhi University Admissions application process is said to have commenced 30 May and first cut-off was released on 27 June.

Delhi University Admissions process this year has witnessed a two month delay. Sources say, last date for submitting the applications for Delhi University Admission will be 5 pm of 30 June.

The portal for Delhi University Admissions will reopen once again with regards to graduate admissions from 31 July to 9 August so that the 12th standard students can upload their marksheets.

This year will be different from the last year when it comes to Delhi University Admissions. Application process for Delhi University Admissions will be taken up through online mode this year.

Unlike the previous times students who have applied for Delhi University Admissions will not be called immediately for physical verification for documents.

The documents submitted as a part of Delhi University Admissions process will be verified online this year. This is being done owing to the COVID-19 situation.

The first cut-off with regards to Delhi University Admissions for undergraduate courses will be brought out on 11 to 14 August.

Second cut off list for Delhi University Admissions will be released between 18 to 20 August. The third cut-off list for Delhi University Admissions will be likely released by 23 to 25 August.

Also, fourth cut off list for Delhi University Admissions will be tentatively released between August 28 to 31 August.

The fifth cut off list for Delhi University Admissions will be released between 3 to 5 September and the sixth cut off list for Delhi University Admissions will be likely released from 8 to 9 September and this will be a special cut-off, say sources.

Sources further say, if seats are remaining vacant with regards to Delhi University Admissions, then, more cut-offs will be announced.

The admissions into these courses will be provided based on performance in the written test. The test will likely be held in between 27 July to 10 August.

BA (Honours) in Business Economics, Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Elementary Education and BA (Honours) in Multimedia and Mass Communication are among the graduate courses for which entrance test will be held.

Also, entrance exam for post graduate, M.Phil and PhD courses will likely be conducted at the same time (27 July to 10 August).

The issues relating to these entrance tests for admissions will be informed by National Testing Agency soon.

Candidates aspiring to join undergraduate courses can get into the official portal of Delhi University at ‘du.ac.in’ and then click the link with regards to admission and register themselves.

Registration can be done by providing their name, date of birth, place of birth to obtain the username and password.

Applicants can login using the username and password and create a link and begin applying for Delhi University Admissions in undergraduate courses.

The application process can be completed by paying the application fee and also submitting the required documents like 12th class marksheets.

Soon after the cut-off list is declared students can login to the university portal and check their eligibility for courses and colleges where they can study them.

Principal of the college will give an okay to admissions. Once the approval is obtained students will get a link on the dashboard of the portal they visited for applying, using the link candidates can pay the fees.

Candidates have to remember that the fees has to be paid within 24 hours after the admission has been approved.

Not paying fees within the set time frame will lead to cancellation of the admission automatically.
