COMEDK UGET 2021: It's for great engineering enthusiasts
COMEDK UGET 2021 exam registration process is on and engineering course aspirants can apply for it till May 20 this year.
COMEDK UGET 2021 will be conducted on June 20 and candidates who pass the exam will get a seat in engineering colleges of Karnataka.
Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is an organisation established by Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation.
Candidates who pass this exam would get admission into undergraduate engineering courses in 150 colleges that are members of COMEDK and located across Karnataka.
COMEDK UGET 2021 will be held across more than 400 exam centres in over 150 cities.
COMEDK UGET 2021 is a state level engineering entrance exam that would be conducted in online mode (computer based test-CBT).
COMEDK UGET or Uni Gauge-E
COMEDK is also the platform for registering for Uni-Gauge-E Entrance Exam which is also used for applying for admission into engineering colleges located across Karnataka.
The list of educational institutions participating in COMEDK UGET 2021 and Uni-Gauge are different.
Candidates can either register for COMEDK UGET or Uni-Gauge or for both.
Even if candidates apply for both exams seperately, they will be attending only one single exam.
COMEDK UGET 2021 and Uni-GAUGE E will be conducted as a combined exam on 20 June.
The choice of registering for the exams is upto the applicants. However, it is reminded that they can apply for one exam or both.
If candidates apply for COMEDK UGET 2021 and Uni Gauge-E, they will get different score cards and they can use both and apply at the respective participating institutions of both the exams.
The pass percent in case of general category applicants of COMEDK UGET 2021 is 45 percent.
For applicants from SC/ST/OBC categories, the pass percent is 40.
Important dates
The application process for COMEDK UGET 2021 test began on 22 March and the last date to submit applications and make payments is 20 May.
The submitted applications for COMEDK UGET 2021 can be edited from 22 to 24 May.
The halltickets for the exam will be available for download from 10 to 19 June.
Provisional answerkeys will be published on 24 June and candidates of COMEDK UGET 2021 can raise objections and challenge the answerkey from 24 June to 26 June.
Final answerkey in connection with COMEDK UGET 2021 will be out on 1 July and scorecards will be made available from 6 July onwards.

The process to apply for COMEDK UGET 2021 exam is online.
Applicants have to visit the official website of the exam ‘https://www.comedk.org/’
Soon after the webpage downloads on clicking the above link, applicants for COMEDK UGET 2021 can choose the button ‘Register/Login’ located on the rightside top corner next to the logo of COMEDK.
They can also scroll down and find button titled ‘Click here to Login/Register for Engineering Application’ under Important Links menu on the right side of the webpage.
Applicants can click on any one of the buttons upon which another webpage with url ‘https://www.unigauge.com/engineering-entrance-exam/’ would download.
After the webpage downloads, applicants of COMEDK UGET 2021 can scroll down and find the button ‘Register/Login’
Applicants have to click ‘Register/Login’ and commence registration to obtain username and password.
Post obtaining username and password, applicants can come to the webpage with url ‘https://cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1022/70148/login.html’ and login to apply for the exam.
Applicants have to provide information like their name, date of birth and upload documents like 10th class marksheets, photographs and scanned image of signature and pay the registration fee and submit the application.
The fee can be paid using online banking, credit cards, debit cards..
GST and Convenience Fee and other charges levied by banks also have to be paid along with payment of registration fee.
Exam pattern and syllabus
The questions in COMEDK UGET 2021 will have 180 questions totally in multiple choice format.
Multiple choice format is where each question will have more than one reply and candidate has to choose the right answer.
Maths, Physics and Chemistry will have 60 questions each and every correct answer will get one mark and there is no negative marking.
The total marks for the test is 180.
Lessons related to maths, physics and chemistry taught in 10, 11 and 12 standards in schools across the country is the syllabus for the exam.
The syllabus will be made available on the official website of the exam ‘www.comedk.org’ in a separate document by 30 April.
Point to remember
In the event of a tie in the test score the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adopted.
In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties.
