CLAT Exams 2022: Good News Awaiting for the Aspirants
CLAT exams 2022 is coming with a twist and a good news for the aspirants. CLAT, a short form for Common Law Admission Test is the national level examination for law. Every law aspirant who wishes to pursue law from a nice college in India, has to clear the CLAT exams. This one is a centralised national level entrance test.
CLAT is an entrance exam for the 22 national law universities of India also called as NLU. Whether it is for the UG or the PG programmes in NLUs of India, the aspirants must have to appear for the CLAT exams.
LLB, LLM, and other related courses are for which this exam needs to be given. But, apart from the National Universities, there are various top private and self financed law colleges of the country that do accept and consider the CLAT scores.
There are different public sector undertakings of the country like COAL India, BHEL, ONGC, Oil India, and various other companies that do consider the CLAT PG scores for hiring the lawyers in the legal positions in these companies.

CLAT Exams 2022
The Consortium of National Law Universities have released the dates of the CLAT exams 2022. CLAT exams 2022 will be happening on May 8 and December 18. It will be an offline test. The offline exam will be held in 147 centres across India in 82 locations.
The application form for the CLAT exams 2022 will be online and it will start from the first week of January. Filling the application form is a very crucial process and the candidates are asked to be very cautious while filling this form. These forms will be scrutinised throughly so our advise will be to fill it correctly.
One must note that anything wrong or misleading in the application form will directly lead to disqualifying the student’s application. The students will receive an admission card for the CLAT exams 2022 in which all the information will be mentioned.
The test day, date, reporting time, the centre name, and everything important will be mentioned in the card. The aspirants must take the admit card to their exam centre or else they wouldn’t be allowed to give the exams.
The results of the CLAT exams 2022 will be announced on the official website of consortium’s which is consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The aggregated merit list and the score board will be uploaded in the website for each individual.
So, two CLAT exams will happen in 2022. If you are a CLAT aspirant, you do not need to wait for another year to give your exam in case, the results aren’t good in the first one. Just after 6 months, there is another date for the CLAT exams.

This decision was taken in the annual executive committee and general body meeting of the Consortium of National Law Universities. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prof Faizan Mustafa.
Let us give you another piece of good news that came from this meeting. The news is that the counselling fee has been reduced to Rs 30k from Rs 50k for the general students and to Rs 20k for the scheduled castes or other backward classes.
