CAT 2024 Overview

This year’s CAT exam saw participation from 2.93 lakh candidates out of 3.29 lakh registrations, showcasing the continued popularity of this prestigious MBA entrance test. Steps to Check CAT 2024 Results

To view and download their scorecards, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website iimcat.ac.in.
2. Log in using your User ID and Password.
3. Click on the link for “CAT 2024 Scorecard.“
4. Download the scorecard and take a printout for your future records.

Details on the Scorecard

The CAT scorecard provides critical information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, section-wise scaled scores, overall score, sectional percentiles, and overall percentile.

Other notable performers include:

• 99.99 percentile: Secured by 29 candidates (27 male, 2 female).
• 99.98 percentile: Achieved by 30 candidates (29 male, 1 female).

Next Steps for CAT 2024 Aspirants

Following the announcement of results, IIMs and other institutions will release their individual cutoffs for shortlisting candidates. Selected aspirants will be invited to participate in further rounds, including:

• Group Discussion (GD)
• Written Ability Test (WAT)
• Personal Interview (PI)

Additionally, 86 non-IIM institutions have registered to accept CAT 2024 scores for admissions to their management programs. Candidates are advised to verify their desired institute’s registration status on the official CAT website.

Exam Format and Key Details

The CAT 2024 exam, conducted in three shifts, tested candidates across sections in 120 minutes. Each section had a time limit of 40 minutes. The final answer key confirmed no changes after 405 objections raised against the provisional version were reviewed.

Reservation Policy

IIMs adhere to a comprehensive reservation policy:

• 15% of the seats are set aside for candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC).
• 7.5% of the seats for candidates from Scheduled Tribes (STs).
• 27% of the seats are reserved for OBCs.
• 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
• 5% of the seats are reserved for PwDs, or people with developmental disabilities.

Candidates can undertake registration for the May edition of the CSEET Exam. The process of registration began on 19 December 2024. Exam will be conducted on 3 May 2025.

Exam is also known as The Institute of Company Secretaries of India Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (ICSI CSEET) and is for those who wish to seek admission into Company Secretaryship Course.

Who can submit ICSI CSEET May 2025 application?

Individuals willing to submit ICSI CSEET May 2025 application have to pass plus-two from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India.

Point to remember

However, those who have passed Foundation of ICSI or Final of ICAI or Final or Final of ICMAI are exempted from appearing for CSEET.

Even graduates or postgraduates with a minimum of 50% pass marks are exempted from CSEET exam.

Candidates have to keep with them the following documents while filling ICSI CSEET May 2025 application:

After application

Candidates who have successfully completed their ICSI CSEET May 2025 Application submission process can alone download the admit card for the exam.

2. Once the website is available, candidates can click the link for downloading the admit card. The link will be made active at the appropriate time,

4. After the hall ticket is visible, it can be downloaded and a printout of it can be taken.
