CAT 2023 admit card will be released on 7 November 2023 on the official website ‘iimcat.ac.in’ Candidates who have successfully completed their CAT 2023 registration can download the hall ticket.

The link to download the hall ticket for CAT 2023 was to be made available on 25 October 2023. Now it will be made active on the new date said above.

Candidates desiring to study management programs at IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management or Indian Institute of Management) can focus on this exam.

The last date to take up CAT 2023 registration was 13 September 2023 earlier. That was extended to 20 September 2023. Applications could be submitted till 5 PM on 20 September 2023.

The results for the exam will be tentatively declared in the second week of January 2024. The date for the result declaration will be informed on the official website in due course.

The full name of the exam is Common Admission Test which is popularly known to all as CAT. It is conducted every year by one of IIMs located in India.

2. Once the website is ready, candidates have to click the link for downloading hall ticket which may open another webpage.

3. When another webpage opens, candidates have to type their application number and other required information and submit them to obtain the admit card.

Exam pattern

CAT 2023 will be conducted online as a computer based test where the questions have to be answered on a computer screen at the test center.

Duration to complete answering is 2 hours or 120 minutes. The test will have questions related to Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).

The exam will be conducted in three sessions – morning (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM), afternoon (12:30 PM to 2:30 PM) and evening (4:30 PM to 6:30 PM).
