APJEE 2022: Exam registration starts on great April 19
APJEE 2022 registration will commence from April 19 and the last date to submit applications is June 15. This is a good news for students who wish to study diploma courses in various streams in educational institutions located across Arunachal Pradesh.
There is no dearth of people who wish to study diploma as it opens the gates for a bright future and they can prepare for this exam. The dates for the registration were announced by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education (APSCTE).
APJEE 2022 is expanded into Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination 2022 and is conducted by APSTCE. The exam will be conducted on June 25 this year from 10 am to 12 pm.

About APJEE 2022
The exam is known as Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination, it is a state level exam and is conducted once a year to provide admission into engineering, diploma and degree PCB Group courses in colleges located across Arunachal Pradesh.
Candidates can apply for this exam online and it will be conducted in offline mode. This is where the answers in the test have to be marked on an answer sheet provided separately. The questions will be in multiple choice format.
This, is where every question will get more than one reply and the right one has to be chosen to get the required marks. The candidates have to be careful as there is negative marking. Every wrong answer would seize 1 mark from the mark bank.
Courses
The programmes to which admission can be obtained through APJEE 2022 are Architecture Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
The other courses for which admission can be sought through APJEE 2022 are Garment and Fashion Technology,
Herbal Technology, Information Technology, Printing Technology, Textile Process, Pharmacy, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Travel and Tourism Management.
Candidates who pass APJEE 2022 can also get admitted into diploma courses related to Engineering/Non – Engineering/Pharmacy/Hotel management.
Who can apply?
This about the eligibility criteria to apply for APJEE 2022. Applicant must be an Indian citizen and a domicile of Arunachal Pradesh. They should have passed plus-two with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects if applying for engineering or science related courses.
Applicants for engineering courses must have passed in Science and Mathematics subjects in Class 10.
Even applicants for Diploma in pharmacy must have passed plus-two in science stream and the subjects in plus-two must be biology, physics and chemistry. The applicants for hotel management and catering technology can be a plus-two in science stream with either maths, physics and chemistry or biology, physics and chemistry.

Candidates must have passed with minimum 35% in aggregate in Class 10th or Class 12th. The applicants should have passed the qualifying exams from educational institutions located in Arunachal Pradesh.
Candidates should be 15 to 21 years old and the upper age limit of SC/ST candidates is relaxed by 3 years.
How to apply for APJEE 2022
The procedure to submit applications for APJEE 2022 is online. Candidates have to visit the official website for the exam ‘www.apdhte.nic.in’ to submit applications for the test. Applicants can follow the procedure to submit applications which is mentioned below:
1. Candidates have to visit the official website using the respective url. Once the webpage downloads, the link for registration has to be clicked.
2. Post clicking the link, candidates will see a form where they can fill details like their name, gender, email id, mobile number, date of birth, unique password, security question and submit them to create a user account comprising username and password.

3A. Post submission, candidates may receive a confirmation message on the computer screen about successful submission of the registration form and the acceptance of username and password created during the registration process.
Post obtaining the confirmation message, candidates can go back to the url where they visited for registration and click the login link and enter the username and password and when the application form appears they can start filling the form.
3B. In certain other cases after the registration form is submitted, candidates may receive an OTP (One Time Password) either on their mobile phone or email id. Candidates have to enter the OTP and then finally submit the form and wait for successful submission confirmation.
Post confirmation, candidates can go back to the url where they visited for registration and click the login link and enter the username and password and when the application form appears they can start filling the form.
4. The form filling can be taken up by providing details like candidate’s name, email id, mobile number, date of birth, qualification details, exam centre.
5A. They have to upload required documents like recent passport size photograph of the candidate, image of candidate’s signature in the required specification.
5B. If required other documents mentioned below that are as per the required specifications have also to be uploaded:
$ Category certificate (if applicable)
$ 10th class marksheet
$ 12th class marksheet (suggested alternatives if marksheet not available)
$ UG or PG marksheets (suggested alternatives if marksheets not available)
6. Post document upload, exam fees or registration fee has to be paid either through online or offline mode. Candidate has to opt for the mode of payment that is made available the institution.
6B. Post payment of exam fees, candidates can check the application form once again and check for errors with regards to details provided in the application form and correct the mistakes if any and submit the application form. In case there are no mistakes, candidates can directly submit the application form.
7. Post submission, candidates will receive the confirmation message indicating successful submission. Candidates can download the confirmation message and preserve it for future purposes.
Registration fee
The registration fee to be paid while applying for APJEE 2022 is Rs 511 (net banking) and Rs 522 (credit card/debit card) for Arunachal Pradesh State Candidates (APST) and Rs 711 (net banking) and Rs 722 (credit card/debit card) for Non APST candidates.
The candidates who are applying for APJEE 2022 will be divided into two categories – APST and Non-APST. APST is Arunachal Pradesh State Candidates and Non APST is Non Arunachal Pradesh State Candidates. The fees(exam fees) to be paid by both these categories is mentioned in a tabular format below:

Post application
Candidates who have submitted application will have to appear for the written test on 25 June 2022. The hall tickets for the test will be available for download at the official website for the exam from 18 June 2022 onwards.
After exam
Applicants have to pass the exam with the required score which is also known as cutoff marks. Cutoff score is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates have to score to become eligible to take part in the next stage of admission process or to get finally selected for the admission.
The score (cutoff) would be released along with the results of the exam. Sometimes they could be announced either before or after the result release also depending upon the situation.
Applicants have to see their score in the exam and compare it with the cutoff marks. Marks scored must be either equal or greater than cutoff marks. If the marks of candidate stands equal or higher than cutoff marks, candidates can take part in further admission process which either involves counselling or procedures like Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
