What is AP EAPCET 2023?

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Anantapur will be conducting AP EAPCET 2023 on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE).

The full name of the exam is Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture Pharmacy Common Entrance Test.

It is a state-level exam conducted once a year. AP EAPCET 2023 is meant to be held this year (2023).

The exam is conducted in online mode and answers have to be registered on a computer screen at the designated test center.

The questions in AP EAPCET 2023 would be related to maths/biology, physics, and chemistry.

Questions will be in a multiple-choice format where each question has more than one reply and the right one among that has to be chosen to get marks.

Subjects in the plus-two must be from the science stream, engineering aspirants have to pass plus-two with maths, physics, and chemistry as subjects.

Agriculture and pharmacy aspirants have to pass plus-two with biology, physics and chemistry as subjects.

Applicants targeting commerce in graduation must pass plus-two preferably in the commerce stream.

Students who are appearing for plus-two or who have appeared and are waiting for the results can also apply.

They have to, however, pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission.

How to take up AP EAPCET 2023 registration?

The process to undertake AP EAPCET 2023 registration is online.

Candidates have to visit the official website of AP EAPCET 2023 at ‘https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/APSCHEHome.aspx’ to submit applications.

The URL mentioned earlier has to be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download.

Once the webpage is downloaded, candidates can read the information about the exam and then click the link for AP EAPCET 2023 registration and create an account comprising a username and password.

Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill out the application form, pay the registration fees and then submit the application form.

The AP EAPCET 2023 registration fee is Rs 600 for General category applicants for engineering.

The same is Rs 550 for BC students and Rs 500 for SC/ST students.

AP EAPCET 2023 registration charges are Rs 600 for Agriculture/Pharmacy applicants from General category.

The same is Rs 550 for candidates of BC category and Rs 500 for applicants of SC/ST candidates.

Applicants choosing both have to pay Rs 1200 while AP EAPCET registration if they are from General category.

The same is Rs 1100 and Rs 1000 for applicants from BC and SC/ST categories respectively.

Hall tickets in connection with the exam will be available for download from 9 May 2023 onwards.

The process to download admit cards is online, candidates have to visit the official website.

Above mentioned URL can be typed into the browser and then the webpage is to be allowed to download.

Once the website is available, candidates can click the link for admit card.

They have to enter their roll number, application number and other information and submit them to view the admit card.

The admit card can be downloaded and a printout can be taken.

The exam

They must appear for the exam at the test centre chosen by them.

Engineering exams will be conducted from 15 to 18 May 2023.

Pharmacy and agriculture exams will be held from 22 to 23 May 2023.

Students who pass AP EAPCET 2023 with the required qualifying marks can apply for counselling.

They can choose the course and pick the college they wish to study that.

Counselling takes place to fill seats at the All India level and state level.

Students who wish to study in central government institutions can apply under the All India Quota.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling for this quota.

Respective authorities of various states in India conduct counselling at their state level.
