AISSEE 2023 registration deadline has been extended till December 5 2022 by NTA (National Testing Agency). It is all about admission into Sainik Schools and candidates keen on that can apply for the exam. It is interesting to note that Sainik Schools function under the aegis of Sainik School Society (SSS).

SSS is an autonomous organization that comes under the aegis of Ministry of Defence of Government of India. Sainik Schools offer admission at the level of Class 6 and Class 9 and are english medium residential schools that are affiliated to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education).

AISSEE 2023

These schools offer regular school education to children and also prepare them for joining National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other institutes that train officers for Indian armed forces. AISSEE 2023 is about admission into Class 6 and Class 9 of Sainik Schools.

Students wishing to seek admission into Class 11 in new Sainik Schools for the academic year 2023-24 also have to appear for AISSEE 2023. Candidates have to pass AISSEE 2023 with required qualifying marks to become eligible for taking part in e-counselling process for providing admissions.

Students seeking admission into Sainik Schools and new Sainik Schools have to pass AISSEE 2023 with the required cutoff score or the qualifying marks. Score of the students in AISSEE 2023 have to be greater than the required qualifying marks or equal to it to become eligible for taking part in the counselling procedure.

Process to submit applications is online and candidates have to visit the website ‘https://aissee.nta.nic.in/’ Soon after the website downloads, candidates have to scroll down the webpage and click the link ‘AISSEE 2023 Application Form’

Soon after clicking the link, another webpage with url ‘https://examinationservices.nic.in/examsys22/root/Home.aspx?enc=WPJ5WSCVWOMNiXoyyomJgNJ12TgFb0How7vAp8qobtHBJock6OdAUHq3EwQOM9KO’ would download where candidates can click the link for registration and create a new account with username and password.

Once the account is obtained, candidates can login and start filling the application form, after filling the form, registration fee has to be paid and then the form has to be submitted. Post submission, candidates have to wait for the message indicating successful submission. Once the message is obtained, candidates can download it and take a printout of it and preserve it for future use.

Post registration, they can start filling the application form for AISSEE 2023.

Important dates

Application submission for AISSEE 2023 began on 20 October 2022 and the last date as per schedule decided earlier was 5 pm of 30 November 2022. As per the new schedule, the last date to submit application form is 5 pm of 5 December 2022, fee can be paid till 11:50 pm of 5 December 2022.

The correction window to make corrections in the application forms already submitted will be open from 7 to 11 December 2022. AISSEE 2023 exam will be held on 8 January 2023.
