Candidates willing to join law courses can aim for AILET 2024 registration. National Law University Delhi (NLU) is conducting the exam and interested individuals can take up AILET 2024 registration from 7 August 2023 onwards.

Last date to submit application is 13 November 2023 and the admit cards will be available for download from 20 November 2023 onwards. Candidates will be writing the test on 10 December 2023.

AILET 2024 is meant to be conducted in 2024. It is for those who wish to join undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses in law in NLU Delhi.

Test will be conducted in pen and paper mode that is offline mode, answers to the questions have to be registered on a separate answer sheet provided at the exam center.

Who can take up AILET 2024 registration?

The condition of eligibility to take up AILET 2024 registration depends upon the course the candidates are desiring to apply through this exam. Details are provided below:

BA LLB Hons

Candidates keen on applying for this program through this AILET 2024 registration have to pass plus two from a recognized educational institution in any stream.

The pass percentage in the qualifying exam must be atleast 45% (for general category applicants and 40% (for SC/ST/PwD category applicants).

Candidates trying to apply through foreign nationals category must pass qualifying exam with 65% pass marks at the minimum.

LLM

Applicants looking to apply for this course through AILET 2024 registration must passed LLB or its equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

Pass marks at the minimum in the qualifying exam must be 50% for General Category candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwD Category candidates.

PhD

Applicants looking to apply for this program through this AILET 2024 registration have to pass masters degree in law from a recognized educational institution.

The pass marks at the minimum in the qualifying exam must be 55%. Candidates have to ensure they are fulfilling all the eligibility requirements before taking up AILET 2024 registration to avoid rejections at a later stage.

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the website is ready, candidates have to click the link to download the hall ticket.

3. After clicking the link, they can enter their roll number/application number and other required details and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.

Point to remember

Candidates who have successfully completed their AILET 2024 registration will alone be able to download the admit card. The link to download hall ticket will be made active at the appropriate time, a few days before the commencement of the exam.

Registration fees

Candidates have to pay Rs 3,500 as AILET 2024 registration fees if they are from General/OBC/EWS/Foreign Nationals/Kashmiri Migrant category.

The same is Rs 1500 if they are from SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories, candidates who are from Below Poverty Line (BPL) of SC/ST category are exempted from paying AILET 2024 registration fee.

The registration for the June commenced on 16 April 2025, the last date was extended till 12 May 2025. The schedule in connection with UGC NET Dec 2025 exam will be clear once the notification is released.
