898 PhD seats will be offered by Lucknow University
Lucknow University has opened applications for 898 PhD seats in 39 subjects for the 2023–24 academic year. There are 93 PhD seats available in Hindi, the most in any discipline. Physics (78), education (64), commerce (53), and other fields are in later order.
Entrance examinations will be used to determine admission to Ph.D. programs at Lucknow University and its affiliated colleges. Applicants can use www.lkouniv.ac.in to submit their applications online.
Moreover, 58 part-time PhD seats have been made available by the university through an application process. January 22 is the last day to complete online application forms.
Eligibility Ph.D. Programme
Applicants seeking admission into various Ph.D. programs must meet the eligibility requirements listed below.
- Applicants seeking admission to the Ph.D. program must have completed their master’s degree with at least 55% of the possible points, or an equivalent grade of “B” on the UGC point scale, or a professional degree deemed to be equal to a master’s degree.
- The minimum qualifying score for candidates from S.C., S.T., OBC, and P.H. is 50% at the master’s degree level.
- Eligibility for a Ph.D. depends on whether the student holds an M.Phil. from an Indian or international university.
