Born in 1997, Chopra's early life was shaped in Khandra village. Despite dropping out of DAV College, Chandigarh, to join the Indian Army, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree, showcasing his commitment to education.

Chopra's exceptional talent led him to join the Indian Army in 2016. His meteoric rise saw him promoted to Subedar and honored with the Param Vishisht Seva Medal for his contributions to sports.
