Minister Pradhan Unveils Major CBSE Reforms: Twice-Yearly Exams

Starting in 2025-26, Class 10 and 12 students can take exams twice a year, aiming to reduce stress and provide more opportunities. 

Twice-yearly CBSE board exams 

Aligns with the National Education Policy's focus on student well-being and holistic education. 

Part of NEP 2020 

Introduced to facilitate smooth implementation, emphasizing flexibility and allowing students to retain their best scores.  

New Curriculum Framework 

Students can choose whether to take exams twice a year, prioritizing student agency.  

Optional System: 

Launched to improve educational standards in Chhattisgarh through a "hub and spoke" model with mentor institutions supporting student schools. 

PM SHRI Scheme 

Aiming for 10% of India's 2036 Olympic medals to come from Chhattisgarh athletes. Presence of key officials highlights prioritization of education for national development.
