INDIA alliance made significant gains in the recent Lok Sabha elections, with the Congress-led bloc winning over 200 seats. Contrary to exit poll predictions, the BJP was reduced to 240 seats, significantly less than their 2019 victory.
BJP is trailing in Uttar Pradesh, with the Samajwadi Party and Congress-led INDA leading in 42 seats, while BJP-led NDA is leading in 37 seats. In Bihar, JDU is leading with 15 seats, followed by BJP with 11 seats.
The BJP-led NDA is now unlikely to reach its 400-seat target, as the INDIA alliance continues to decrease their numbers. Despite exit polls predicting 350+ seats, the latest reports suggest even this is unlikely.
