The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has launched the 'Young Achievers’ Scholarship and Holistic Academic Skills Venture Initiative (YASHASVI) scheme 2024' today, June 7.
The YASHASVI scheme will benefit 5,000 students annually, with 2,500 scholarships for degree students and 2,500 for diploma students. Degree students will receive Rs 18,000 per year for up to four years, while diploma students will receive Rs 12,000 per year
Eligibility for the YASHASVI scholarship is merit-based. Degree-level students are selected based on their 12th grade qualifications, while diploma-level students are chosen based on their 10th grade results .
To renew the scholarship annually, students must submit their passing certificate or marksheet and a letter from the head of their institution.Applications for the YASHASVI scholarship will be invited once a year through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), the management said.
