The application correction window for the Class 9, 11 Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) 2025 application form opens today, November 27, 2024. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has made available the facility of correcting their application form of NVS Class 9, 11 lateral entry on the official website, navodaya.gov.in, for candidates.

To make corrections in the NVS 2025 application form, one needs to enter the registration number and date of birth for login. According to the official prospectus of NVS, it says that the correction window shall be opened for two working days after the last date of submission of the application form for correction in information-selected fields only.

The last date to edit their NVS 2025 application form for Class 9 and Class 11 is tomorrow, November 28. In this time frame, candidates will be given the opportunity to modify gender, category, area of living, disability, stream option, and district option.

NVS Admission 2025: LEST exam date

The LEST 2025 exam for Class 9 and Class 11 will be conducted on February 8, 2025. The selection test will be conducted for two and a half hours. There will be 100 questions, each carrying one mark.

According to the prospectus, it is clarified that all the provisionally selected candidates’ admission will be confirmed after verifying proofs like residence, district, age, pass certificate, eligibility, district of study, and category like rural/urban, OBC, SC, ST, Divyang. The process of verification will take place following the procedure in practice immediately after the declaration of the results.

JEE Mains 2025 Schedule

1st Session

The exam will be conducted from 22 to 31 January 2025. JEE Mains 2025 Application submission schedule will open from 28 October to 22 November 2024.

The fee in connection with JEE Mains 2025 Application submission can be paid till 11:50 PM on 22 November 2024. The result will be declared by 12 February 2025.

2nd Session

JEE Mains 2025 Application submission for second session will take place from 31 January to 24 February 2025. The application can be submitted till 9 PM on 24 February 2025.

Admit cards will be available about three days before the actual date of the examination of the applicant. Exam will be conducted from 1 to 8 April 2025 tentatively.

Results for the second session are to be released by 17 April 2025. There is more to it than meets the eye as far as JEE Mains 2025 Application submission is concerned.

The exam will have three papers, Paper 1, Paper 2A, Paper 2B. Paper 1 of JEE Mains 2025 is for students focused on graduation in engineering (BE or BTech).

Students keen on studying under graduation in architecture (BArch) have to appear for Paper 2A, those who wish to study graduation in planning (BPlan) have to appear for Paper 2B.

Architecture aspirants have also to answer questions related to creativity, innovation, drawing along with that of maths, physics and chemistry.

Format of questions will be multiple choice where every question has more than one reply option and the right one has to be chosen for getting marks.

Students who have passed plus-two from a recognised educational institution with subjects as maths, physics and chemistry can take up JEE Mains 2025 application submission.

Even students who have appeared for the plus-two exams and are waiting for results or who are about to appear for the qualifying exam can also submit JEE Mains 2025 application.

However, these students have to pass the exam and provide proof of it by the time of admission. Not able to do, may lead to cancellation of admission.

5. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates have to press New Registration on the left side and create an account with username and password.

6. After registration, come back to the same webpage with the same URL mentioned in Point No 4 and type the username and password on the right side and sign in to fill the JEE Mains 2025 Application.

Post application submission

Individuals who have submitted their JEE Mains 2025 application successfully can download their admit card about three days before they are to appear for the exam.

1. Type the URL mentioned above in the browser and submit it to allow the website to download.

2A. After the website is available, candidates can click the link for admit card and then enter their credentials created during the registration and submit them to view the admit card.

2B. Candidates can also click the registration link for the exam and login using the credentials created during the initial registration to view the admit card.

3. After the admit card is visible, candidates can download and take a printout.

Exam

Candidates have to appear for the exam and then pass it with the required qualifying marks which are also known as cutoff marks.

Students who pass the exam with the required score can take part in the counselling process to obtain seats in NITs, IIITs or IIITDMs.

Those willing to study in IITs have to pass JEE Mains with a score that falls under top 2.5 lakh ranks on a national level to apply for JEE Advanced, a written test required to qualify for admission into IITs.
