Students keen on applying for management courses in IBS – ICFAI Business School can go ahead with IBSAT 2024 registration. The application submission started on 1 July 2024.
Selection briefings will be conducted from 10 to 19 January 2025 at more than 70 locations across India. The process to select students for MBA and PGPM program will be held from 15 to 24 February 2025 at Hyderabad campus of IBS.
About IBSAT
ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test also known as IBSAT in the shorter version is a test conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed To Be University).
Purpose of the exam is to admit students into MBA or PGPM courses offered by IBS.
This is held on a national level and is of two hour duration and students who pass it can apply for admission into Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Jaipur campuses of the institute.
Selection process
IBSAT
Candidates who have taken up IBSAT 2024 registration will appear for the test on the said dates and pass the exam with required qualifying marks.
Those who pass the test will have to take part in the initial selection briefing rounds and then participate in the final selection process where Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and various other procedures are held.
Selection will be done based on performance in IBSAT, performance in GD, PI, choice of the course of students, availability of vacancies.
Non IBSAT
Candidates who have appeared for well-known entrance exams for management admissions like CAT, NMAT by GMAC, XAT or GMAT are exempted from taking up IBSAT 2024 registration.
They can directly attend initial selection briefings, final selection procedure comprising GD, PI and other rounds after submitting the application.
Who can take up IBSAT 2024 registration?
Candidates who have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India can take up IBSAT 2024 registration.
They have to pass their qualifying exam with a minimum pass percentage of 50.
Even those who have appeared for the final degree exams and are waiting for the results, or those who are about to appear for final exams of their qualifying degree can also take up IBSAT 2024 registration.
These candidates have to pass their qualifying exam and provide a proof for it by the time of admission.
Process to be followed to submit application is mentioned below for the sake of the students:
1. Type the URL mentioned above into the browser and submit it.
2. Once the webpage is ready, candidates have to obtain all the information about the exam.
3. After obtaining the information, they can click the button <Apply Now>.
4. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://admissions.ibsindia.org/ibsat/registration/index.asp?utm_source=&utm_medium=&utm_campaign=’
5. After the webpage with above URL opens, candidates can click take up registration and open an account with username and password.
6. Candidates can login with the help of their account credentials and start IBSAT 2024 registration process.
7. Fill the form, pay the registration fees and submit the form.
IBSAT 2024 registration fees
IBSAT 2024 registration fees is Rs 1800 and applicants must pay that amount while applying for the exam.
Applicants can login with their credentials and book a slot (time and date) for taking up the exam, they have to login at the allotted time and date and take up the exam on a computer.
Questions will be in multiple choice format and will be related to the topics Verbal Ability, Reading Ability, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency.
