CTET 2024 Exam Guidelines: Admit Card, Timings, and Prohibited Items

It’s going to be the CTET 2024, for the teacher recruitment in the classes from 1st to 8th of a Central Teacher Eligibility Test, held today. CBSE instructed candidates to be armed with a CTET Admit Card 2024 from the official website, ctet.nic.in, at an exam centre for entry purposes only.
Entry time for shift 1 and shift 2 is 7.30 am and 12.30 pm, respectively. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after that. Candidates are also expected to follow all the CTET exam guidelines throughout the exam. According to the CTET exam timings, shift 1 will be conducted between 9.30 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

A sealed test booklet containing an answer sheet will be given to candidates fifteen minutes prior to the start of the exam. “Cases where a candidate has not signed the Attendance Sheet a second time will be deemed not to have handed over the OMR Sheet and dealt with as unfair means case,” the board said.
CTET 2024: What not to carry
- Any stationery item like printed or written textual material, bits of papers, geometry, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, whitener, calculator, log table, electronic pen, scanner, cardboard etc should not be carried inside the exam hall.
- Any communication or electronic devices like mobile phones, bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band are prohibited.
- Any wristwatch, wallet, goggles, handbags, gold or artificial ornaments etc are not allowed.
- Other goods found to help candidates pass the examination will be taken to mean using unfair means
- Smoking, gutkha chewing, and spitting in the examination hall strictly not allowed
- No cup of tea, coffee, cool water, or any eatable must be brought inside the Examination Center.
