JEE Main 2022

Joint Entrance Exam, JEE Main 2022, Earlier known as All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), is a national level entrance examination organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission in premium engineering Institutes in India.

NTA conducts JEE Main twice a year in the month of February and April. Students who have qualified or appear in 10+2 are eligible for it. JEE Main is Computer Based Test (CBT). Students have to apply for JEE (Main) “Online” ONLY by accessing the official website of NTA. Go through the complete article to get full information about JEE Main 2022. 

Earlier JEE Main used to happen only once in a year, But now, It is conducted twice. The students will have various benefits of the new pattern. Like,  It gives one more opportunity to the students to improve their scores in examinations if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year. Also, the students will get first-hand experience of taking an examination and to know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the second time.

JEE Advanced 2023 Application Process

Step 1: JEE Advanced 2023 Registration

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2023.
  • Enter JEE Main 2023 Roll Number and Password.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Documents required must be kept handy before filling the application form. Once the JEE Advanced application form is filled correctly, upload the required set of documents with the specifications.

  • Upload high quality scanned images of your latest photograph and signature in JPEG format.
  • The signature size should range from 1kb- 30kb.

The candidates can check below the eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2023:

Age limit: There is an age limit to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995
  • Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.

Qualifying JEE Main 2023: Candidates should be among the top 2,45,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2023. The number of candidates that are selected from each of the categories is as follows:

Preparation Tips

Setting up a good preparation strategy for JEE Advanced 2023 is very important while preparing for the exam to increase the chances to clear the exam. Some of the JEE Advanced 2023 preparation tips that the candidates can follow are:

  • The candidates need to know their syllabus in details so that they can plan out their studies well.

JEE Advanced 2023 Counselling

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.

The counselling for the JEE Advanced AAT 2023 qualified candidates will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The candidates will have to register through JoSAA where allotment will be done according to the candidate’s secured rank, preferences made and availability of seat.
