Educational Qualification/Pass Marks
The applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other equivalent examination of any recognised educational institution located across India.
The subjects in plus-two should be Physics and Mathematics along with Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology. Open category candidates must secure 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 examination. Reserved category aspirants need to secure 40% aggregate marks
Aspirants who have appeared for the plus-two exams and are waiting for the results or who are about to appear for the exams can also apply. However, these students are required to pass the exam and produce documents as proof for it by the time of admission.
Candidates who wish to study engineering can have maths, physics and chemistry in plus-two, those wishing to study biology or biotechnology oriented courses should have biology, physics and chemistry as subjects.
This is a three hour long exam which means candidates will have 180 minutes to answer questions related to maths/biology, physics and chemistry. The questions will be in multiple choice format where each one will have more than one reply option among which the right one has to be chosen to get the marks.
