Minimum Eligibility Conditions for Admission to B.Ed at Shimla College of Education

A bachelor's or masters degree is must (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.)or (M.A./M.Sc./M.Com.) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized board/University in India. 

For SC/ST candidates must secure atleast 45% marks in graduation or post graduation level.
The candidate should not be more than 26 years of age (General category boy candidate)and 28 years (General category girls candidates) SC/ST candidate should not be above 29 years. The last age determination date shall be 1st July of the year for which te candidate is seeking admissions to.

The division of seats for different streams as approved by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh are:

Step-1:

Fill in the application in your own handwriting. Attach necessary documents with admission form.

Step-2:

Bring your parent or guardian along with you and present yourself before the Admission Committee to get the form checked and recommended.

Step-3:

Present yourself before scrutiny committee.

Step-4:

Present yourself before the  Principal's and get his/her final approval.

Step-5:

On the Principal'a approval on your admission, the candidate must go and pay the fee on the same date.
