BE / B.Tech: Student must have passed their class 10+2 examinations minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics/Chemistry as main subjects from a recognized board

B.Arch: Candidate must have passed 10+2 / HSC / ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with a minimum average of 45% marks (in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) and a valid NATA score

B.Com: Student must have Passed HSC (10+2) from any state board or CBSE

BBA: Students must have passed 10+2 examinations in any subject.

B.Sc.: Student must have passed his/her class 10+2 examinations with relevant subject from a recognized board.

Entrance Examination conducted by Sathyabama University. The admission to the MBA and MCA programmes is done on the basis of the performance in the All India Entrance Examination conducted by Sathyabama University.

The college campus has 24X7 services like Medical room, ATMs, Emergency Vehicles and also facilities such as Computer lab, telephone/ fax, Stores, Fitness studio, Indoor mess, Beauty spa, Courier service, Xerox and Binding sections. The campus life of the students in this college campus is totally and entirely wholesome, easy and fun filled. The college campus offers a mixture of education and enjoyment. The students do not need to to step out of the University premises for anything. It goes that extra mile to make the life of students staying at hostels that much more comfortable and pleasant, thereby making it a second home.

To keep the lives of the students entertained within the college campus, they organise a lot of cultural shows and events. This is also done to improve the skills of the students over a period of time. Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology celebrated Cultural 2020 on 14th and 15th February 2020. In these two days of extravaganza celebrations, On the first day, Mr.Velmurugan, a well-known folk singer, Mr Devi Sri Prasad, a Renowned Indian Film Music Composer and team enthralled the audience with a spectacular show of musical talent. And similarly, these are organised every year. 

To make commuting easy for the students and the faculty members, the college also offers transport facilities. More than 150 buses transit students and faculty members from various points in the city and also from the suburbs like Ennore, Pattabiram, Thiruvallur, Red Hills, Chengleput,  Thiruvettriyur, and Kancheepuram. Special buses are operated to support students attending placement training / Special Coaching Classes such as Civil Services Examinations / Accessing Library Facilities. These buses generally leave the campus at 5.00 P.M. 

The college also has a specialised student council that works in the favour of the students and helps them in getting involved in various extracurricular activities.

Hostel Fees Structure

The college also has a hostel for the girls and the boys of the college. The hostels of the college are very well ventilated and that is the first priority of them to ensure that hostels have proper ventilation for the college. They actually have 5 hostels for Boys and 5 hostels for Girls in a gargantuan area of 16,75,000 Square feet. 

There are comfortable twin and triple sharing rooms in the college with proper amenities. The hostels have wi-fi throughout the day because that is the need of the hour for the students. Talking about the security of the college, there is warden who looks after the hostel campus and for the needs of the students. 

The security is obviously intact but that doesn’t mean that the students cannot have fun in their hostels. They just have to be in discipline. SAFETY” is the prime objective in the campus and the institution is known as “SAFE HEAVEN” especially for girl students. The hostel also has a mess which provides hygienic and fresh food to the students three times a day along with the evening snack. 

The students can enjoy the meals inside the mess in a light hearted and chilled environment. The college takes pride in saying that they haven’t ever received a single complaint about the hostel food’s taste and quality. They make sure that the students do not feel that they are away from their homes.

• Emergency treatment 24X7 Medical Aid facility is available for Hostel Inmates. During Institution working hours, Student shall approach “STUDENT HELP DESK” in health emergencies. Student Help Desk assists students in getting emergency health aid by immediate coordination with dispensary. In case of further diagnosis student will be treated in “Sathyabama General Hospital”. Medical insurance is provided for the students.
