Overview

Ravenshaw University (formerly known as Ravenshaw College established in 1868) is a co-educational Autonomous University having CPE Status by UGC & NAAC ‘A’ accreditation, situated in the serene and calm region of Cuttack, Orissa in the eastern coast of India, being established on the 15th of November 2006. It is one of the oldest and largest colleges in India. This college was under the administration of Calcutta University in starting and after that, the responsibility was passed on to Patna University in 1917. The University even received affiliation from Utkal University in the year of 1943. It offers multiple numbers of UG, PG and Research Courses. Admission to same is done on the basis of entrance exam which is conducted by the university itself. Ravenshaw University also accepts GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for Ph.D. admission.
