Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) is a higher education institute located in the State of Haryana. PIET is one of sought after Engineering & Management College in Haryana. The Institute offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in multiple disciplines.
Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) was established by the Vidhya Peeth Education trust in the year 2006. It was the time when state and NCR was striving of producing World Class technocrats and Managers. PIET is self financed Initiative by a Private Management which always had an eye on quality of technical education.
The great philosophy of PIET management has created an edifice that is strengthening its foundation, which can only rise higher and higher. Admissions to B.Tech. Courses are based on JEE Merit Rank.
3.Bachelor of Technology (LEET) 2nd year (3 years):
Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering Technology with a duration of 3 years or more from State Board of Technical Education Haryana with at least 45% marks (42.75% for SC/ST) in aggregate. Or should be a pass in B.Sc. Degree of minimum three year duration from a recognized university with Mathematics as a core subject in 12th Standard, with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
4.Master of Business Administration (MBA 2 years):
Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks (47.50% marks for SC/ST). Admission to MBA programme is based on the Composite Score of CMAT/MAT.
5.Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 Years):
Pass in 10th Examination with at least 35% (33% for SC/ ST) marks from Board of School Education, Haryana or equivalent examination from a recognised Board /University.
6.Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (LEET):
ITI, 10+2 with PCM or 10+2 vocational.
7.Diploma in Pharmacy(D-Pharma 2 Years)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Bio / Mathematics from a recognized Board.
8.Admission on the basis of inter–se:
merit as per the provision of the Kurukshetra University:
10+2 Pass with 50% marks in any stream with English as a compulsory subject from CBSE or any other State Education Board.
10+2 Pass with at least 50% marks from CBSE or Board of School Education, Haryana or any other examination equivalent thereto.
50% marks (47.50% for SC/ST) in Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream with Maths/Statistics as one of the subjects.
Register Yourself:
The candidates wiiling to join PIET need to register themselves either online or offiline. Once the registration is done the candidate will recieve his/her login ID & Password which wll help the candidate in the upcoming admission procedures.
Reach out for the Application Form:
Using the generated Id & Password the candidate can fill the application form available both online and offline. The candidate must fill in his /her personal details in the form such as name, parents names, address, contact details, etc.
Upload required documents:
This is the most important part of the admission process. The candidate must make sure that all the required documents are submitted in their original or attested forms. Some of the important documents to be submitted are, photocopies, transfer certificate, +2 marksheets and signature of parent and student.
Application Fees Payment:
Atlalst the students have to make a payment in the form of cash or card in order to submit the from. The aplication wont be accepted until the paymet is done.
PIET provides its students a magnificent Boarding Complex. The rooms are well-ventilated, spacious, comfortable and cavernous. Two students lodge comfortably in a bed. Adequate security protocols are in place to protect the students from any untoward incident.
The entire PIET campus is supported by Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) of 100 Mbps and has strong backbone of 10 access point links throughout the campus which covers each and every corner of the campus including hostels (boys/girls). With the help of Wi-Fi facility the students can access online information anytime and anywhere in and around the campus using their Laptops even after the normal college hours. Understanding the need and importance of Internet the College provides 24 x 7 Wi-Fi connectivity.
The mess maintains the quality of food and the hygienic conditions under the supervision of a competent food quality supervisor. Daily newspapers and various magazines are dustributed daily to make them aware of the daily happenings of the world.
