The process of admission commences with ensuring the required eligibility criteria. Students have to ensure they are fulfilling the required eligibility conditions before submitting applications.

Ensuring the fulfillment of eligibility condition will not leac to rejection of application or the candidature from the admission process. The applications can be submitted in online and offline mode. Students can choose either one keeping in mind their convenience.

As per the online mode, candidates have to visit the official website of the university and then click the link for registration and create a user account comprising username and password. The link of registration will be available on the admissions webpage in the official webiste. Candidates have to fill details like their name, age, date of birth and complete registration. Post registration, students have to login and start filling the form with the required information.

Post filling the required information, students can pay the registration fees and then submit the application form. The offline mode has two procedures. As per the first method, candidates can visit the official website of the university and click the required link and then download the application form. Post download, candidates have to take a printout of it, fill the form and attach the required documents and then send them through post or courier.

As per the second method in offline mode, candidates can also procure the form from the Information Centres related to the university, fill it and submit the form there itself. The application form can be brought home and filled and submitted at the Information Centres.

The list of Information Centres of the university can be obtained from its official website. Post submission of application form, candidates have to appear for the entrance test conducted by the university which is known as MUJEE (Mangalayatan University Joint Entrance Exam).

Students have to pass MUJEE with required qualifying marks to become eligible for taking part in the further admission process which comprises either counselling or personal interview and group discussion.

Candidates who have passed national level exams like JEE Mains (UG Engineering), NATA (UG Architecture), CAT/XAT/MAT (Management PG), GATE (Engineering/Science PG), CSIR NET (Science PG/PhD/Asst Professorship), UGC NET (PG/PhD/Asst Professorship for Arts and Humanities) can also apply.

Candidates who have passed the national level exams are likely exempted from taking part in MUJEE and they can directly appear for further admission procedure.

The condition of eligibility can be checked from the notification in connection with the exam which would be available at the official website for the exam established by the organisation conducting the exam. Post, ensuring the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria, candidates can follow the procedure mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website of the exam and click the link for registration and wait for the form to appear.
2. Post appearance of the form, candidates can fill it with the details like their name, age, date of birth, qualification details, permanent and temporary address, their email id and mobile phone number and submit them and create an account comprising username and password and submit them.
3. The students would receive confirmation message of successful submission and post submission they can view the details about the username and password created and website where they can use the username and password.

3A. Sometimes after confirmation, candidates may receive an One Time Password (OTP) either on their mobile phone or email after submission of registration form. In that case, they can enter the OTP and receive the final confirmation of submission of registration form and the details about username and password created.

4. Applicants can login in with the help of credentials (username and password) created and start filling the application form with details – the name (of the candidate), age, date of birth, educational qualification, residential address and permanent address, the course they wish to study, the test centre where they wish to write the test.
5. Post filling all the details, applicants have to upload the documents, the documents to be uploaded would depend on the type of the course, they are wishing to apply for the exam. The documents to be uploaded for UG course are:

12^th class marksheet or suggested alternatives if marksheets are yet to be obtained

Community Certificate (if applicable)

6. Post uploading of the documents, candidates can pay the registration fee using the online modes like credit card, debit card and net banking and obtain confirmation. After obtaining the confirmation, candidates can check for errors in the application and rectify them if any. Post rectification/verifying, application can be submitted and confirmation for successful submission can be obtained.
