Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) was established in 2001. The college is located in the Institutional area of Janakpuri, New Delhi.
Maharaja Surajmal Institute Technology is AICTE certified under GGSIP University is ideally located in Janakpuri, New Delhi Institutional Area. This has a campus spread over eight acres of land with a stunning environmentally sustainable atmosphere. From a four-story building of 6279 sq.m of built-up area, the Institute served earlier. It was moved recently to a more spacious, seven-storeyed buy. Recently it has been relocated to a more expansive seven-story building with a built-up area of 9660 sq.m. The college has gained and grown in a brief period of time remarkable facilities, skills and services to provide high-quality engineering training.
The college runs in two phases-First / Morning shift and Second / Evening shift offering a Bachelor of Science in CSE, IT, ECE and EEE streams.
The college has an accomplished and well trained staff. MSIT's most modern teaching approach gives students enough opportunities to grow into all round practitioners while holding them up to date with ever-changing technology.
The environment in the classroom is synergetic to the engaging and participatory sessions. It makes learning constructive, instilling a sense of teamwork, accountability and intellectual honesty in the students. This aims to create a strong student-faculty relationship that grows students to their full potential and harnesses the teachers to the fullest.

All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE
