IIT Madras Admission Process 2025 IIT Madras admission process generally begins from September-October every year. The highlights of the admission process are provided below: IIT Madras BTech admission is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced ranks The final admission to BTech programme is determined by the cut-off released by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), followed by a counselling process Admission to MSc and MTech programmes are based on a candidate’s performance in IIT JAM and GATE exam respectively For admission to the MA programme, Humanities & Social Science Entrance Exam (HSEE) is conducted by the institute The institute also offers an MBA course, admission to which is based on CAT score Candidates need a valid score in UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE or JRF to take admission to research programmes.
