The Chandra Shekhar Azad University for Agriculture and Technology officially came into existence in the year 1975 but its roots can be traced to as early as 1893 when it was just a small school. The university is known for promoting research and training in agricultural study and methods.
The university gradually grew through the growth of each and every one of its constituent colleges.
The target student population is primarily farmers and the aim of the faculty at the university is to provide farmers with basic training in engaging in prosperous and scientific agricultural work.
