AKGEC accepts admission to B.Tech. Programs in two ways
(i) Direct Admission based on XII Percentage and JEE (Mains) Score + Performance in Test conducted by AKGEC and Interview. Registration for Direct Admissions can be done using the akgec.ac.in/admissions link
(ii) Through Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) based on JEE (Mains) Score. The registration for UPTAC counselling is held at the AKTU level.
Located on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, the AKGEC campus features a convenient stationary shop catering to student needs. Stocked with a comprehensive range of items such as textbooks, reference materials, journals, and laboratory manuals, the store ensures students have easy access to necessary study supplies. Offering these essentials at affordable prices, the store operates during college hours, providing a seamless shopping experience for students.
Additionally, AKGEC boasts a vibrant canteen area known for its high-quality, nutritious food and strict adherence to cleanliness standards. With a diverse menu of food items and beverages available at nominal prices, the canteen is a popular spot on campus. The college campus houses two food outlets located at the Mechanical and CS-IT blocks, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all working days, including Saturdays.
AKGEC provides comfortable and well-furnished hostel accommodation for its students across six campus hostels situated in four complexes: the Junior Girls Hostel Complex, the Girls Hostel Complex, the Junior Boys Hostel Complex, and the Senior Boys Hostel Complex. The girls' hostels offer double and triple-seater rooms, accommodating approximately 600 students, while the Junior Boys' Hostel accommodates around 300 first-year students in double occupancy rooms. The Senior Boys Hostel Complex houses about 600 students in single and triple-seater accommodation across two hostels.
Each hostel complex features a dedicated mess with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, serving hygienic, nutritious, and wholesome meals. Additionally, the hostels boast gymnasiums, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, TV rooms, and libraries stocked with magazines, fiction, and general reading books. Eco-friendly solar water heating systems are installed in the hostels, ensuring sustainability. Furthermore, canteens and provision stores cater to minor daily requirements, providing students with a comfortable environment conducive to both academic pursuits and all-round development.
