UP Veterinary Entrance Exam 2022 : UP Veterinary Entrance Exam 2022 is conducted by UP Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusadhan Sanstha (DUVASU). The exam has two types - PVT and PGET. Candidates who want admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H have to write PVT. Students wishing to join postgraduate M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes in College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry have to appear for PGET.
Candidates who wish to join B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology, B.Sc. (Hons.) Industrial Microbiology in College of Biotechnology Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy and Diploma in Livestock Extension in Institute of Para - Veterinary Sciences can also apply through this portal. However, they can attend the counselling process at the appropriate time about which they would receive the required information.
This is a state level exam which is conducted once a year and students who wish to join courses mentioned above can submit applications. Application submission for PVT and PGET began on 16 -05-2022 and will go on till 01-08-2022 and 31-08 -2022 respectively.
Candidates can visit the designated website of DUVASU and submit applications currenty as the registrations are still open. The notification is released at the appropriate time every year on the designated website and soon after the release, application submission commences.
The procedure to submit applications is online and candidates have to visit the official website and click the appropriate link for registration.
Post clicking the link for registration, candidates have to fill details like their name, date of birth, qualification, email, mobile number and create an account comprising username and password. Post account creation, candidates can login using the credentials (username and password) created during registration and start filling the application form. Post filling the application from, candidate has to upload required documents and pay the registration fee.
The registration fee has to be paid and confirmation for that has to be obtained. After the confirmation for fee payment is obtained, candidates can check the application form for any errors in the details provided and then submit the form finally and obtain confirmation. Post obtaining confirmation, candidates can download the application and take a printout of it. Post application submission, the candidates have to appear for a written test.
The schedule for the written test will be intimated to the candidates at the appropriate time on the official website of the exam. Candidates can also receive the schedule of the exam even on their respective emails. The hall ticket has to be downloaded from the official website of the exam at the appropriate time.
The test will be conducted in offline mode and questions related to biology, physics, chemistry have to be answered in duration of 3 hours if applying for PVT. Students applying for PGET will have to answer questions related to graduate level lessons of subject in which candidates wish to do postgraduation in duration of three hours.
Students who have written the exam can wait for the results. Post release of results, candidates can compare their score in the exam with the cutoff marks which are the minimum qualifying marks to be obtained by the candidates to become eligible for the next phase of admission process or final selection for the seat in the educational institution.
