TS LAWCET 2023 Osmania University (OU) conducts Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) on behalf of Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) to provide admission into various law courses in colleges located across Telangana state. Candidates who pass this exam can obtain a seat to law courses of three year and five year duration.
The 3 year duration courses are LLB and LLB Hons. The five year duration courses are B.A LL.B, BCom LLB, and BBA LLB. The five year course is also known as integrated LLB. The notification is released on the official website of TSCHE at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. For 2023, the application submission is open from 2 March 2023. The last date to submit application is 6 April 2023.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The test shall be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration (90 minutes) and questions will be related to General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Aptitude for the Study of Law.
The medium of the test is english, telugu and hindi. Based on written test result, shortlisted candidates shall be called for counselling process. Candidates have to pass the written test with the required score to take part in the counselling.
Required score is also called cutoff score or cutoff mark and it is nothing but the minimum marks candidates have to score to be eligible to take part in the next phase of admission process or to get finally selected for the seat.
