Cutoff for TS LAWCET 2023

Announcement regarding the cutoff in connection with the test will likely be made after the results of the exam are released. Sometimes cutoff marks are either released shortly before the result or after the release of the result.

The candidates have to get minimum qualifying marks in the exam to become eligible to move to the next stage of admission. The qualifying score (minimum) to be scored by candidates is provided below:

What is cutoff?

The cutoff marks for the test are the marks that candidates have to score in the test to become eligible for getting a seat in the institution. Students have to score marks either equal to set cutoff marks or above it. Cut off marks are decided taking into account factors that are given below:

The number of candidates who appeared in the exam, Number of seats for allotment, Reservation Norms, Previous year Admission trend, Last year cut off and The difficulty level of the exam. The cutoff for the exam remains the same most of the time. There is anothe cutoff which is by that of participating institutions. Step 1: JEE Advanced 2023 Registration

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2023.
  • Enter JEE Main 2023 Roll Number and Password.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Documents required must be kept handy before filling the application form. Once the JEE Advanced application form is filled correctly, upload the required set of documents with the specifications.

  • Upload high quality scanned images of your latest photograph and signature in JPEG format.
  • The signature size should range from 1kb- 30kb.

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligbility Criteria

The candidates can check below the eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2023:

Age limit: There is an age limit to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995
  • Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.

Qualifying JEE Main 2023: Candidates should be among the top 2,45,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2023. The number of candidates that are selected from each of the categories is as follows:

Preparation Tips

JEE Advanced 2023 Counselling

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.

The counselling for the JEE Advanced AAT 2023 qualified candidates will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The candidates will have to register through JoSAA where allotment will be done according to the candidate’s secured rank, preferences made and availability of seat.

  • Two passport size photographs
  • Provisional seat allotment letter
  • Candidate undertaking
