Educational qualification
Applicants should have passed degree in any stream from a recognised institution. Even those who have appeared for their final exams in their qualifying degree and are waiting for the results or those who are about to appear for their final exams can also apply. However, they have to pass the exam and provide proof for it by the time of admission.
Candidates applying for MCA can preferably have computer science as one of the subjects or a main subject in their undergraduation.
Educational qualification pass marks
Candidates should have passed their degree with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate pass marks. The same for reserved category candidates is 45 per cent.
The exam is conducted in online mode and has questions related to Analytical Ability (Section A), Mathematical Ability (Section B) and Communication Ability (Section C). The questions will be in multiple choice format and total questions are 200 which have to be answered in 2 hours 30 minutes or 1 hour 90 minutes.
