Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) conducts Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) to provide admission in graduate engineering, science, pharmacy, agriculture and other courses in colleges across Telangana. Students who wish to study graduation - BE/BTech, BArch, BPharma, BSc Agriculture and other subjects can aim for this exam.
The notification is released on the official website of TSCHE at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. For 2023, the application submission began on 3-03-2023 and will go on till 10-04-2023. The prospects of submitting applications at later dates also exist on payment of late fine.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and location of the test centre will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to mathematics/biology, physics, chemistry have to be answered in 3 hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it. Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process.
