OJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The OJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria is considered the most important factor that the interested applicants must consider first while planning to appear for the examination. The eligibility factor defines the norms that must be justified by the aspiring candidates if they wish to successfully apply for the OJEE 2023 examination.

The eligibility consists of factors such as age relaxation and the nationality of the candidates. It is important for the candidates to fulfill the required eligibility criteria of OJEE 2023 in order to avoid the cancellation of the candidature or rejection of the application form for the examination.

For the candidates who apply for the online mode of examination, the choice of selecting the mode of examination will be given in the application form of OJEE 2023 as per the candidates requirement.

Candidate who will successfully register for OJEE 2023 examination can make changes in the application form (if required). The form correction process will continue until one week after the conclusion of the OJEE 2023 application process.

For B.Tech (LE)/ B.Plan:

Educational Qualification: Student must have passed his/her 12th level / 3 year diploma  from any recognized board/university.
Qualifying Marks & Subjects: Student must have passed qualifying exam with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates) with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one among Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, CS, Vocational, Geology, Statistics etc.

For MBA:

Educational Qualification: Applying candidates should  have passed /appearing in Bachelors degree from any recognized university OR
Student passed or appearing in Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ Technology from a recognized university with 50% marks (45% in case of ST/SC category).
Age Limit: No age limit prescribed.

For B. Pharm:

Educational Qualification: The applying candidate must have passed class 12 from any  recognized board/university. Candidates passed  from open board cannot apply for OJEE.
Qualifying Subjects: Students appearing in the  qualifying exam must pass with the subjects Physics & Chemistry as core subjects with Mathematics, Biology subjects.
Age Limit: No age limit prescribed.

For M. Tech/ M. Arch/ M. Pharm:

Qualification: Student who have passed Bachelors degree (B. Tech, B. Arch, B. Plan, etc)  or its equivalent degree in a respective stream from a recognized board or university.
Qualifying Marks: Students in the qualifying exam must have obtained 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).
Age Limit: No age limit prescribed.

OJEE 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode) where answers will have to be registered on a separate answer sheet provided at the test centre. Questions to be answered will depend on the course the candidate wishes to apply through the entrance test.

The format of the questions will be multiple choice where each question has more than one reply option and the right one has to be chosen to get the marks. Every rightly answered question gets 4 marks and every wrongly answered question loses 1 mark. More information is provided below in the tabular format for the sake of the students:
