NDA & Naval Academy Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year. The first edition is conducted in April or May and the second edition is conducted in August or September. The exam held in April or May is also known popularly as NDA & NA (I) and the same conducted in August or September is popular as NDA & NA (II).
This is a competitive exam at the national level and qualified candidates will become eligible for selection into Indian Navy, Indian Army and Air Force training academies. Subsequent to the training at the academies, they will become officers in the three armed forces of India.
Candidates applying for examination should ensure that they meet all conditions of eligibility for admission to the examination. They should be also having required physical and medical fitness. The success in the selection process after the exam depends on how fit candidates are physically and medically.
Notification is released on the official website of UPSC at the appropriate time every year. Candidates interested in a career in armed forces can apply after the notification is out.

NDA Admit Card 2022
Three weeks before the start of the exam the qualifying candidates will be issued an e-Admit Card. The e-Admit Card will be made available for download by candidates on the UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in). No Admit Card is sent by mail. All applicants are expected to provide a valid & active email I d while filling out the online application form as may be issued by the Commission. Candidates may note that the strength of an e-Admit Card given in respect of another candidate does not allow them to take the exam.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses.
