The lessons to be studied while preparing for the test will depend on the type of the course the candidates are trying to apply through NID DAT. Students who wish to study BDes or MDes have to prepare for NID DAT 2022.
The questions will be related to creativity, design aptitude, principles of design, colour pattern and texture will be asked in the exam and students must read lessons related to be above mentioned topics while preparing for NID DAT prelims.
NID DAT Mains will have questions related to creativity, evolution of ideas, usage of materials for creativity, innovation. Students have to also display their creative work on the allotted topic during the studio round. The preparation should be around putting ideas, concepts related to design, creativity into practise and bringing out good designs of any products or other objects.
