The cutoff score is the minimum qualifying mark that candidates have to score to be eligible for the next process of recruiment or for final selection. There are two types of cutoffs here, while one is the cutoff for written exam, the other is the final cutoff. The cutoff for written test will be delcared along the release of results for written test which is NDA & NA.
The final cutoff will be decided after the completion of SSB Interview or when the interview is in progress. Score of the candidates in the exam and interview has to be either greater to the cutoff score or equal to it. Candidates have to compare their score with the cutoff, if they find it either above the cutoff or equal to it, they are eligbile for next phase or final selection.
The cutoff marks are decided based on factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of seats, number of applicants, previous year cut offs, performance of candidates in the interview and written test, number of vacancies available. The expected cutoff is being provided below for the sake of the students, they can view it and have an idea as to how the cutoffs are calculated and then plan their study strategy:
