NCHM JEE 2023 National Testing Agency NTA conducts National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination NCHM JEE on behalf of National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology NCHMCT to provide admission into three year undergraduate course BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration.
Students who pass this exam will be able to study BSc [Hospitality & Hotel Administration] in the participating reputed Hotel Management Institutions (HMIs) located across India.
The participating institutes are 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs,1 PSU IHM and 27 private IHMs that are affiliated to NCHMCT. The other name for the exam is NCHMCT JEE. This is a national level exam conducted once a year and students who wish to pursue graduation in Hospitality and Hotel Administration can aim for this exam.
The notification is released on the official website of NTA at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source.
The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector have to be answered in three hours time.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it. Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process.
