The applicants for NATA 2023 have to pass plus-two examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Even candidates who have passed 10+ 3 Diploma with Mathematics as subject of study can appear for NATA 2023.
Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA 2023. However, they have to provide required documents at the time of the admission that they have passed the qualifying exam.
Candidates have to know the exam pattern for NATA 2023 if they are to prepare a sound study schedule. The knowledge of the exam pattern will provide students with lot of information like duration of the exam, no. of questions, types of questions, distribution of marks in each section, total no. of marks, duration to be allotted for every question. NATA 2023 is an exam of three hour duration and total number of questions in it would be 125. The questions will carry either 1 mark,2 marks or 3 marks. The medium of Aptitude test will be the English language. The aptitude test will comprise of questions that could be of the Multiple-Choice type (MCQ), Multiple Select type (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ) and Numerical Answer type (NAQ) and Match the following type (MFQ).
