Syllabus for NATA 2023

Candidates appearing for NATA 2023 have to be prepared for answering questions related to academic subjects and also creativity and innovation and general aptitude and language skills. They have to study academic lessons taught at plus-two classes like maths, geometry, english (language skills), drawing, design perception, colour perception and others. The syllabus for NATA 2023 are provided below for the sake of the students:

Geometry

Geometric composition, Shape, Understanding scale and proportion of objects, Building forms and Color texture, Harmony, Elements, Aesthetics and Contrast. Conceptualization and visualization through structuring objects in memory.

Drawing of patterns – both geometrical and abstract.

Form transformations in 2D and 3D like union, subtraction, rotation, surfaces and volumes.

Creation of 2D and 3D compositions using given shape and forms.

Generating plan, and 3D views, the elevation of objects.

Sketching of urbanscape and landscape,  Perspective drawing. Common day-to-day life objects such as equipment, furniture.

Questions could be asked in various topics that assess candidates on basic concepts in mathematics, physics and geometry, language and interpretation, elements and principles of design, aesthetic sensitivity, colour theory, lateral thinking and logical reasoning, visual perception and cognition, graphics and imagery, building anatomy and architectural vocabulary, basic techniques of building construction and knowledge of material, general knowledge and current affairs, etc. and are may not be limited to those outlined.
