Eligibility criteria for MAH CET Law 2022

The condition of eligibility depends on the type of the law programme that the candidate wants to apply through this entrance test. Candidates can apply for three year LLB and 5 year LLB programmes through MH CET Law 2022. Condition of eligibility is different for both of these courses. More information is provided below for the sake of the candidates:

5 year LLB

Applicants must have passed plus two from a recognised school in Maharashtra or out side the state with 45% marks the same is 40% for SC/ST category candidates. Candidate should be an Indian Citizen. Even candidates who are appearing for the final exam of their qualifying plus-two classes can also apply. However, they should have passed the exam and produce required documents in that regard by the time of the admission.

3 year LLB

Candidate should be an Indian citizen and a graduate and or a post graduate in any discipline from a recognised university in Maharashtra with a minimum of 45% marks. There is no upper age limit for admissions to 3 year LLB CET. 

Exam pattern for MAH CET Law 2022

Candidates have to answer questions related to GK and Current Affairs, Logical and English Reasoning, English, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning. The topics are the same for candidates choosing 3 year LLB or 5 year LLB.

However, candidates choosing 5 year course have to answer questions related to mathematics also. There is no negative marking for exams in both the cases. The mode of the test is online and questions will be in multiple choice format. The duration to answer questions in exam related to both the courses is 120 minutes. 3 year LLB

  1. The exam will have one paper with four sections - Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge with Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning and English.
  2. Mode of Examination – Online
  3. Format of Questions – Multiple-Choice Questions
  4. Duration of Exam – 120 minutes for general/reserved category and 30 minutes extra for PwD category candidates.
  5. Medium of Exam – Bilingual (English and Marathi)
  6. Marking Scheme – One mark will be awarded for each correct answer; No negative marking

5 year LLB

  1. The exam will have one paper with five sections - Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge with Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, English and Mathematical Aptitude
  2. Mode of Examination – Online
  3. Format of Questions – Multiple-Choice Questions
  4. Duration of Exam – 120 minutes for general/ reserved category and 30 minutes extra for PwD category candidates.
  5. Medium of Exam – English and Marathi
  6. Marking Scheme – No negative marking and one mark will be awarded for each correct answer
