About IIT JEE Advance

JEE Advanced 2023 IIT Guwahati is conducting JEE Advanced 2023 on Sunday, June 04, 2023. The mock test to practice for the exam has been made live on jeeadv.ac.in. Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) hold JEE Advanced in CBT mode and at a national level on a rotational basis. In 2023, IIT Guwahati is holding the exam for UG engineering admission across 23 IITs.

The top 2.5 lakh qualifiers of JEE Main 2023 will be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2023 exam. 10+2 candidates with more than 75% marks (or among top 20 percentiles), fulfilling the eligibility criteria, may apply from Sunday, April 30, 2023 (10:00 IST) to Thursday, May 04, 2023 (17:00 IST).

JEE Advanced is the only gateway for admission in one of the IITs. Around 106 UG engineering courses are offered across 23 IITs of the nation. To enrol in one of them, aspirants have to qualify both the papers in JEE Advanced.

Step 1: JEE Advanced 2023 Registration

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2023.
  • Enter JEE Main 2023 Roll Number and Password.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Documents required must be kept handy before filling the application form. Once the JEE Advanced application form is filled correctly, upload the required set of documents with the specifications.

  • Upload high quality scanned images of your latest photograph and signature in JPEG format.
  • The signature size should range from 1kb- 30kb.

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligbility Criteria

The candidates can check below the eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2023:

Age limit: There is an age limit to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995
  • Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.

Qualifying JEE Main 2023: Candidates should be among the top 2,45,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2023. The number of candidates that are selected from each of the categories is as follows:

JEE Advanced 2023 Counselling

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.

The counselling for the JEE Advanced AAT 2023 qualified candidates will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The candidates will have to register through JoSAA where allotment will be done according to the candidate’s secured rank, preferences made and availability of seat.
