About JIPMER PG 2022 or INICET 2022 or INI CET 2022

JIPMER PG 2022 - Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research conducts JIPMER PG 2022 exam for admitting students into postgraduate courses offered by it. The exam is expanded into Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research Post Graduate Exam.

This exam has been replaced by INICET 2022 or INI CET 2022. The postgraduate courses are MD/MS/M.Ch.(6years)/DM(6years)/MDS.

INICET or INI CET is expanded into Institute of National Importance Common Entrance Test.  Earlier, all the institutions of national importance were conducting their own exams for providing admission into postgraduate courses. They were AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, PGIMER PG, NIMHANS Exams.

Now INICET or INI CET has replaced these individual exams. Students seeking admission into postgraduate courses in Institutions of National Importance like AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh & SCTIMST Trivandrum and other AIIMS (Bhopal,  Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur & Rishikesh, Bibinagar, Bathinda etc.) earlier, had to appear for individual exams of these institutions.

Post INI CET replacing the individual exams, students wishing to study postgraduate courses in these Institutions of National Importance have to write INI CET or INICET. The INICET or INI CET is conducted twice in a year - January and July. 

JIPMER PG 2022 exam (INICET 2022 or INI CET 2022) is conducted by AIIMS New Delhi. Students who pass this exam with the required score have to take part in the counselling which would be conducted by AIIMS New Delhi. JIPMER PG 2022 will be conducted online and students can apply for the exam online. Students can take part in the counselling after passing the exam with required score or cutoff marks.

Step 1: JEE Advanced 2023 Registration

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2023.
  • Enter JEE Main 2023 Roll Number and Password.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Documents required must be kept handy before filling the application form. Once the JEE Advanced application form is filled correctly, upload the required set of documents with the specifications.

  • Upload high quality scanned images of your latest photograph and signature in JPEG format.
  • The signature size should range from 1kb- 30kb.

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligbility Criteria

The candidates can check below the eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2023:

Age limit: There is an age limit to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995
  • Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.

Qualifying JEE Main 2023: Candidates should be among the top 2,45,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2023. The number of candidates that are selected from each of the categories is as follows:

Preparation Tips

Setting up a good preparation strategy for JEE Advanced 2023 is very important while preparing for the exam to increase the chances to clear the exam. Some of the JEE Advanced 2023 preparation tips that the candidates can follow are:

  • The candidates need to know their syllabus in details so that they can plan out their studies well.

JEE Advanced 2023 Counselling

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.

The counselling for the JEE Advanced AAT 2023 qualified candidates will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The candidates will have to register through JoSAA where allotment will be done according to the candidate’s secured rank, preferences made and availability of seat.

  • Two passport size photographs
  • Provisional seat allotment letter
