JIPMER 2022 exam is about gaining admission to study post graduate courses from allied medical stream and the condition of eligibility depends on the course the candidates is trying to gain admission. The condition of eligibility is provided below for the sake of the candidates:
1. MSc Allied Health Science courses
A) MSc Medical Biochemistry
Applicant should have qualified in a 3-year BSc Degree Examination of a recognized University with Biochemistry or Chemistry as main subject with Biology/Botany/Zoology as ancillary subject OR candidates with BSc Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized University.
B) MSc MLT – Microbiology
Applicants should have qualified in a 3-year BSc Degree Examination of a recognized University in Medical Lab Technology.
C) MSc MLT – Pathology
Applicants should have qualified in a 3-year BSc Degree Examination of a recognized University in Medical Lab Technology.
D) MSc Medical Physiology
Applicants should have qualified in a 3-year BSc Degree Examination of a recognized University with Physiology/Biotechnology as main subject with Biology/Botany/Zoology as ancillary subject OR B.Sc. Zoology OR Candidates with B.Sc. Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized university.
E) MSc Biostatistics
A Candidate who has passed the Degree Examination in B.Sc. degree in Statistics (Major) OR B.Sc. degree in Mathematical Science with Statistics as a subject from any recognized University OR an examination of some other University accepted by the institute as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission.
F) MSc Neurotechnology
A Candidate who has passed the Degree Examination in B.Sc. degree in Neurotechnology OR B.Sc. degree in Science followed by Diploma in Neurotechnology (2 years regular course) from any recognized University. (OR) BE or B.Tech., in Biomedical Engineering or Biotechnology. (OR) Bachelor of Physiotherapy with 1-year
experience in Neurology from a recognized Institution. (OR) Master of Physiotherapy (Neurology) (OR) BA/MA in applied Psychology.
2. MSc Nursing
I) The candidates should have passed the qualification of BSc Nursing Degree of this Institute or any other University accepted as equivalent thereof.
ii) The candidates should have registered with the State Registration Council of Nursing and Midwifery.
(iii) The candidates should have at least one year of experience in a hospital or in a College or in a School of Nursing or in Community Health Program after B.Sc. Nursing and registration with a State Nursing Council.
(iv) Minimum of one year of work experience prior or after Post-basic B.Sc. Nursing
(v) Candidates shall be medically fit.
3. Master of Public Health
4. Post Basic Diploma in Nursing
5. Postgraduate Diploma/Fellowship
A. Postgraduate Diploma in Genetic Counseling
Any applicant with qualification of MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc./ M. Phil Medical Psychology from a recognized University
B. Postgraduate Fellowship in Family Planning
Any applicant with qualification of MBBS from a recognized University
