The eligibility to apply for IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam is a pass in bachelors or masters degree in any discipline. The qualifying exam must be passed with at least fifty percent marks. Even Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks can also apply.
Others who can also apply are trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education program in direct mode can also apply.
Point to remember
Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks required will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD candidates as per the norms of the Government of India.
Reservation for Kashmiri Migrants and War Widow candidates will be provided as per the University Rules.
IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam 2022 or IGNOU BEd EE 2022 or IGNOU BEd ET 2022 is an online exam that will be held for two hours. Students will have questions in multiple choice format which have to answered in two hours. The questions will be in multiple choice format.
The question paper will be divided into 2 sections: A and B - Part A and Part B. Part A will have four sections which will have questions related to English, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Teaching Aptitude. Part B will have questions related to the candidate's competence on their choice of subject.
