CSIR UGC NET 2022 National Testing Agency conducts CSIR UGC NET exam for individuals who wish to take up teaching in subjects related to science or pursue research in them. Full name of the exam is Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test which in short is popularly known as CSIR UGC NET.
The test is a national level one and is conducted twice a year - June and December. The notifications are issued on the official website of the exam at the appropriate times during the year and students can submit applications after the release of the notification.
Candidates who wish to take up reasearch or the job of assistant professor in the subjects of Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Science can prepare for CSIR UGC NET.
They have to pass the test with required score (cutoff marks) and the score card can be used while applying for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship - Research) or Assistant Professor posts in educational institutions located across India.
